Michael Maher, Advisor

Michael Maher is an experienced executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of professional experience including U.S. military and excepted service in the Executive Branch of the federal government.   Currently Michael is the CEO and President of OTN Aviation, a company focused on sustainable business aviation and flight medical technologies. Previously held executive positions with some of the largest global business aviation companies. 

Prior to Business Aviation, Michael was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation where he led National Security Investigation and was the Counterproliferation Coordinator for the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office. He received multiple awards for his investigative work and was a recipient of the ODNI Award presented by the Director of National Intelligence. 

A veteran of the U.S. Navy and graduate of the Navy’s Nuclear program, widely acknowledged as the most demanding academic program in the U.S. military, he served aboard an attack Submarine where he sustained injuries which lead to his medical retirement. 

Michael is married and father of two sons. He is active in supporting his local community and has been engaged in the fight against Human Trafficking for over a decade. He is a graduate of the US Naval Academy’s Preparatory School and Fresno Pacific University. Michael attended Oxford University where he rowed crew for The Queen’s College First VIII.  He studied at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, as a Senior Executive Fellows, is a life member of of the Naval War College Foundation, The Pacific Council on International Policy, Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, Overseas Security Advisory Council and is an associate life member of the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation.
